In the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, the first stage of upgrading the V423 power line to higher parameters has been implemented. This infrastructure is used for the transmission of electricity between the Čebín and Sokolnice substations.

The modernisation works included a 400 kV power line with a length of 25.28 km and 79 supporting poles. The scope of the project included replacement of pole structures and foundations, installation of new phase conductors, replacement of insulator strings, earthing cables and KZL components.

The V423 line crosses D1 and D2 motorways, first, second and third class roads, railway lines and lower voltage lines.
